Description

The bypass PW between the master and backup RSGs was unavailable.

Parameters

Parameter Name	Parameter Meaning
PwApsId	ID of the PW APS instance.
PWID	ID of the PW.
PWTYPE	PW encapsulation type.
PWPeerIp	Destination address of the PW.
PwIndex	Interface index of the PW.

Possible Causes

Cause 1: No bypass PW was configured between the master and backup RSGs.
Cause 2: The bypass PW between the master and backup RSGs was incorrectly configured.

OSN9800,PTN7900,PTN90X,PTN9X0,PTN-SVRP:

Cause 1: No DNI PW was configured between the master and backup RSGs.
Cause 2: The DNI PW between the master and backup RSGs was incorrectly configured.

Procedure

1. Perform the troubleshooting operations described in hwPWVcDown to rectify the fault. Then, check whether the alarm is cleared.

If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 3.
If alarm persists, go to Step 2.

2. Collect alarm information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
