L2VPN/3/hwPwApsLost_active: APS reported a packet lost alarm. (PwApsId=[PwApsId], PWID=[PWID], PWTYPE=[PWTYPE], PWPeerIp=[PWPeerIp], PwIndex=[PwIndex])

Description

APS packets were lost.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning

PwApsId

ID of the PW APS instance

PWID

ID of the PW

PWTYPE

PW encapsulation type

PWPeerIp

Destination address of the PW

PwIndex

Interface index of the PW

Possible Causes

  • Cause 1: PW APS instances were not configured.
  • Cause 2: The PW tunnel status was not Up.

Procedure

  • The troubleshooting procedure is as follows:

1. Run the display mpls l2vpn pw-aps command to check whether a PW APS instance has been configured.

  • If a PW APS instance has been configured, go to Step 3.
  • If no PW APS instance has been configured, go to Step 2.

2. Run the pw-aps command to configure a PW APS instance, and check whether the alarm is cleared.

  • If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 6.
  • If the alarm persists, go to Step 3.

3. Run the display mpls l2vc or display mpls static-l2vc command to check whether the PW is Up.

  • If the PW is Up, go to Step 5.
  • If the PW is Down, go to Step 4.

4. Perform the troubleshooting operations described in hwPWVcDown and hwSvcDown to rectify the fault.

  • If the fault is rectified, go to Step 6.
  • If the fault persists, go to Step 5.

5. Collect alarm information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.

6. End.
