Description

The working and protection PWs in a PW protection group both encountered faults.

Parameters

Parameter Name	Parameter Meaning
PwApsId	ID of the PW APS instance.
PWID	ID of the PW.
PWTYPE	PW encapsulation type.
PWPeerIp	Destination address of the PW.
PwIndex	Interface index of the PW.

Possible Causes

The working and protection PWs in a PW protection group both encountered faults.

Procedure

1. Run the display mpls static-l2vc interface interface-number interface-type command to check the AC status.

If the AC status is Up, go to Step 3.
If the AC status is Down, go to Step 2.

2. Check the AC interface status.

If the AC interface status is Down, change its status to Up. Then, check whether the alarm is cleared.
If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 7.
If alarm persists, go to Step 3.
If the AC interface status is Up, go to Step 3.

3. Run the display mpls static-l2vc interface interface-number interface-type command to check VC tunnel/token info information.

If the number of tunnels is 0, go to Step 4.
If the number of tunnels is not 0, go to Step 7.

4. Run the display tunnel-info all command to check whether there are LSP tunnels destined for the peer PE.

If there are such tunnels, go to Step 7.
If there are no such tunnels, go to Step 5.

5. Check that public network interface configurations are correct. Then, check whether the alarm is cleared.

If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 7.
If alarm persists, go to Step 6.

6. Collect alarm information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
