Description

The IPv6 address usage of the domain reached the upper threshold.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning

domainName

Name of the domain

domainIndex

Index of the domain

threshold

Threshold for IPv6 addresses in the domain, in percentages. If the value is 80,the threshold is 80%

Possible Causes

A large number of users got online from the domain, causing the number of allocated IPv6 addresses to reach the threshold.

Procedure

1.Run the display domain domain-name command to view the IPv6 address threshold.

  • If the value of IPv6-warning-threshold configured in the domain ranges from 1 to 99, go to Step 2.
  • If IPv6-warning-threshold is not configured or is set to 100, go to Step 4.

2.Run the display ipv6-pool pool-usage command to check whether the number of users getting online using IPv6 addresses allocated from the local address pool of the domain reaches the threshold specified in the network planning.

  • If so, go to Step 5.
  • If not, go to Step 3.

3.Run the ipv6-pool command to increase the number of referenced local address pools, or run the access-type command in the BAS interface view to configure new users to get online from other domains. Check whether this alarm is generated after 30 minutes.

  • If so, go to Step 5.
  • If not, go to Step 4.

4.Collect alarm information, log information, and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel.

5.End.
