Message

OSPFV3/3/ospfv3ImptNssaLsaThresExceed_active: The number of NSSA LSAs generated when an OSPFv3 process imports external routes exceeds the configured alarm upper threshold.(hwOspfv3ProcessId=[hwOspfv3ProcessId], hwOspfv3AreaIdIndex=[hwOspfv3AreaIdIndex], hwOspfv3Threshold=[hwOspfv3Threshold])

Description

The number of NSSA-LSAs generated when an OSPFv3 process imported external routes exceeded the upper alarm threshold (in percentage) multiplied by the maximum number allowed.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning

hwOspfv3ProcessId

OSPFv3 process ID.

hwOspfv3AreaIdIndex

OSPFv3 area ID.

hwOspfv3Threshold

Lower alarm threshold configured for the number of NSSA-LSAs.

Possible Causes

The number of NSSA LSAs generated when an OSPFv3 process imports external routes exceeds the configured alarm upper threshold.

Procedure

1. Run the display ospfv3 command to check whether the number of NSSA-LSAs generated when an OSPFv3 process imported external routes exceeds the upper alarm threshold (in percentage) multiplied by the maximum number allowed.

  • If the number exceeds the upper alarm threshold (in percentage) multiplied by the maximum number allowed, this trap message is informational only and no action is required.
  • If the number has not exceeded the upper alarm threshold (in percentage) multiplied by the maximum number allowed, go to Step 2.

2. Perform the following operations as required:

  • If a change in the limit on the number of NSSA-LSAs is allowed, run the import-route limit limit-number [ threshold-alarm upper-limit upper-limit-value lower-limit lower-limit-value ] command to change the limit.
  • If a change in the limit on the number of NSSA-LSAs is not allowed, go to Step 3.

3. Collect the alarm, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel.

4. End.
