QoS MIB statistics are monitored in real time. It is recommended that the monitoring period be greater than or equal to 1 minute. If the monitoring period is less than 1 minute, the monitoring waveform may be unstable. The possible causes are as follows:
1. When the NMS calculates the collection rate, the collection count is obtained from the device. The collection time difference is calculated based on the time when the NMS receives packets. When the device or network is heavily loaded, the difference between the time difference collected on the device side and the time difference calculated on the NMS is large. The shorter the collection period, the larger the difference. Therefore, it is recommended that the collection period be greater than or equal to 1 minute.
2. To reduce the impact of performance data procession on device CPU, the device returns data saved using software when the NMS-side performance data procession is implemented (hardware data is periodically recorded into software on the device side).
QoS MIB statistics are monitored regularly. The monitoring object is hwhqosProfileUserQueueStatisticsTable, with the OID of 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.132.1.29.
1. The device monitors the object separately, with the period of 15 minutes. When the CX68MPUK/CR52MPUD2/CR52MPUD3 is used as an MPU, the number of created instances cannot exceed 1500 ( traversing 1000 instances takes 3.5 minutes, 2000 instances 8 minutes, and 3000 instances 12.5 minutes). If there are too many instances, the data reading may time out and therefore no data can be obtained.
2. At the same time, the device monitors other objects with the period of 15 minutes. When the CX68MPUK/CR52MPUD2/CR52MPUD3 is used as an MPU, the number of created instances cannot exceed 1000. If the physical CPU usage is higher than 60% or there are too many instances, the device may generate a CPU usage alarm, or the data reading may time out. In such cases, no data can be obtained ( the physical CPU usage of 40% or lower is increased to 70%, 50% increased to 75%, and 60% to 80%. The higher the pysical CPU usage, the longer the traversing time).
1.When you perform the get operation on the sub-object of this MIB table, if the device or network is not in the high load state, it takes less than 200 ms to get the data of a single object. If you attempt to get data of multiple objects, the time accumulates. For example, collecting the data of other objects, smooth reconciliation of devices, or high load of the device or network increases the time.
2.The default timeout period of the NMS is set to 5s for one operation. If you need to set it manually or using a non-Huawei NMS, you are advised to adjust the timeout period based on the actual collection scenario to prevent collection timeout.
When the value of hwhqosProfileUserQueueStatisticsDirection is inbound(1), the following objects are not supported and are displayed as 0s:
