The Two-Way Active Measurement Protocol (TWAMP) measures the round-trip performance of an IP network. TWAMP Light, as a light version of TWAMP, measures the two-way delay, jitter, and packet loss rate over test sessions. These performance indicators can then be displayed on the NMS to show whether carriers' QoS requirements are satisfied.
The HUAWEI-TWAMP-MIB provides MIB interfaces for the NMS so that the NMS can create or delete and start or stop test sessions and obtain test statistics using MIBs.
