The router allows you to manage the leases of remote address pools.
When the router serves as a DHCP relay agent, the router may disable ARP probe on access interfaces if some clients do not respond to ARP probe packets sent by the router. If a client is powered off or goes offline unexpectedly, the router cannot detect that the client is offline and therefore does not send Release packets to the DHCP server. As a result, the IP address used by the client cannot be released from the remote address pool. To prevent this problem, enable lease management for the remote address pool.
