Configuring the Alarm Threshold for the Usage of a Single CPU on a Board

This section describes how to configure the alarm threshold for the usage of a single CPU on a board.

Context

When the usage of a single CPU on a board is too high, measures must be taken to expand board capacity or adjust services to ensure proper service running.

In VS mode, this configuration process is supported only by the admin VS.

Procedure

Run system-view
The system view is displayed.
Run forward alarm cpu-usage multi-core thresholdthreshold-value
The alarm threshold for the usage of a single CPU on a board is configured.
Optional: Run undo forward alarm vcpu-usage multi-core threshold
The default alarm threshold for the usage of a single CPU is restored.
Optional: Run forward alarm vcpu-usage multi-core { log | trap } disable
Alarm or log reporting when the CPU usage of the multi-core's single core reaches the threshold regardless of service types is disabled.
