Abort-Session-Answer (ASA)

Message Function

After receiving an ASR message, the PCEF sends an ASA message to the PCRF. The Command-Code is set to 274, and the R bit in the flag field is cleared.

  • DIAMETER_SUCCESS indicates that the session is successfully ended.
  • DIAMETER_UNKNOWN_SESSION_ID indicates that the session is not activated.
  • DIAMETER_UNABLE_TO_COMPLY indicates that the session is not ended. For example, a Diameter activated DAA service exists.
