This section describes how to configure the NetEngine 8000 F based on its role.
Context
When IA_NA is used to allocate addresses to the WAN interfaces on a CPE, see Configuring DHCPv6 (IA_NA) Address Allocation.
When DHCPv6 (IA_PD) is used to allocate prefixes to a CPE, see Configuring DHCPv6 (IA_PD) Prefix Allocation.
In IA_NA+IA_PD address allocation, a DNS server must be configured for both the address pool for IA_NA address allocation and the address pool for IA_PD address allocation.
