Conditions that Cause SZTP to Exit or Fail

Table 1 lists the conditions that may cause a device to exit the SZTP process or cause the SZTP function to become invalid.

Condition

Impact

The device starts with a non-null configuration, or the name of the configuration file for the startup is not vrpcfg.zip.

SZTP does not take effect.

The set sztp disable command is run.

SZTP is disabled. To enable SZTP again, run the set sztp enable command.

Any of the following configurations is performed on the device:

  • An IP address, excluding the management interface address (192.168.0.1), loopback interface address, and the IP address of a DCN-related sub-interface, is configured for any interface.
  • The undo pnp enable command is run globally.
  • A VLAN is configured globally.
  • A BD is configured globally.
  • A VSI is configured globally.
  • The device is configured as an AP.
  • The DHCP client function is configured on an interface.

The SZTP process exits.

Login to the device through DCN succeeds.

The SZTP process exits.
