Option Description |
Vendor-specific option, used to identify family and enterprise users on BAS interfaces of any VLAN. After a user is identified, a corresponding QoS profile is applied. A DHCP server identifies enterprise and family users based on IPv4 line IDs carried in the Option 82 field and selects a corresponding option from Option 224 to 254 to be carried in the DHCP ACK message. The BRAS then identifies enterprise and family users based on this option and redirects enterprises users to a specified BA classification domain. |
