Application Scenario
When a router uses an 80 km QSFP-DD optical module, an OA is required. Configure OAs as follows according to the transmission distance between the router interfaces to be interconnected and the insertion loss of optical links.

- When the transmission distance is in the range from 40 km to 80 km and the insertion loss of optical links is less than 22 dB, OAs need to be configured only at the transmit end.
- When the transmission distance is in the range from 80 km to 120 km:
- If the insertion loss of optical links is less than or equal to 24 dB, OAs need to be configured only at the transmit end.
- If the insertion loss of optical links is greater than 24 dB but less than or equal to 28 dB, OAs need to be configured at both the transmit and receive ends, and the receive optical power threshold of the corresponding QSFP-DD optical module needs to be manually modified.
- If the insertion loss of optical links is greater than 28 dB, reduce the insertion loss to less than 28 dB.
