NOTE:
It is used together with the 400ZR optical module. 1. When the transmission distance ranges from 40 km to 80 km and the insertion loss of the optical link is less than 22 dB, only the optical amplifier needs to be configured at the transmit end. 2. When the transmission distance ranges from 80 km to 120 km: 1. When the insertion loss of the optical link is less than or equal to 24 dB, an optical amplifier needs to be configured only at the transmit end. 2. If the insertion loss of an optical link is greater than 24 dB but less than or equal to 28 dB, optical amplifiers need to be configured at both the transmit and receive ends, and the receive optical power threshold of the corresponding QSFP-DD optical module needs to be manually modified. 3. If the insertion loss of an optical link is greater than 28 dB, reduce the insertion loss to less than 28 dB. Note: The optical amplifier module works at the physical layer. If the corresponding physical port is always on, it indicates that the optical amplifier works normally and no LOS alarm is reported. If the corresponding physical port is off, it indicates that the optical amplifier unit does not work normally or the LOS alarm is reported. If the status of the OA port is up, the optical amplifier is working properly and no LOS alarm is reported. If the status of the optical amplifier port is down, the optical amplifier is not working properly or an LOS alarm is reported. |
