When the EVC sub-interface accesses the BD and this BD also has the EVPN and VNI accessed, traffic forwarding is affected.

When the EVC sub-interface accesses the BD and this BD also has the EVPN and VNI accessed, traffic forwarding may be abnormal.Extract the following configuration models:

1, Add the EVC to the BD and the BD to the EVPN.

2, Add the EVC to the BD and the BD to the VXLAN.

3, Add the BD to the EVPN and to the VXLAN. The EVC does not need to be added to the BD.

Choose any configuration models based on the application scenarios.

When an EVC main interface and an EVC default sub-interface coexist, services on the default EVC sub-interface take effect, but services on the EVC main interface do not take effect.

Properly plan the service.

MAC address learning in qualify mode in a BD does not support the scenario where Huawei devices interconnect with non-Huawei devices.

NetEngine 8000 F

NetEngine 8000 F2A/NetEngine 8000 F1A

MAC address learning in qualify mode in a BD does not support the scenario where Huawei devices interconnect with non-Huawei devices that use the VLAN-aware mode.

NetEngine 8000 F

NetEngine 8000 F2A/NetEngine 8000 F1A

MAC address learning in qualify mode in a BD is not supported in the scenario where EVPN interworks with VPLS.

NetEngine 8000 F

NetEngine 8000 F2A/NetEngine 8000 F1A

MAC address learning in qualify mode in a BD does not support static MAC addresses.

NetEngine 8000 F

NetEngine 8000 F2A/NetEngine 8000 F1A

Learning of the same MAC address in qualify mode in a BD requires the outer VLAN to be unique in the BD after the sub-interface VLAN changes. This ensures that traffic with the same MAC address is isolated between different interfaces.

In EVPN L2-to-L3 scenarios:

L2VE EVC sub-interfaces do not support the traffic encapsulation type default or flexible access.
