Among the active and standby links or equal-cost links, PIM is enabled only on the current link. If PIM is not configured on the new path after multicast path switching caused by configuration, route, or link changes, multicast services will be interrupted after being switched to the new path. If multicast services are transmitted over the optimal route among unequal-cost links, PIM must also be enabled. |

In CU separation scenarios, the multicast-related commands can be delivered only from the vBRAS-CP to the vBRAS-UP. Multicast-related commands cannot be directly executed on the vBRAS-UP. |

The outbound interface of a multicast RPF route can only be one of the following: 1. Common physical outbound interface. 2. Outbound interface of an LDP tunnel. The tunnel can be iterated to a physical outbound interface. 3. Outbound interface of a TE tunnel. This interface is the outbound interface of the IGP Shortcut route. If the outbound interface of the multicast RPF route is not supported, multicast traffic will be interrupted. |
