Enabling Routed Proxy ARP

Procedure

1. Run system-view

   The system view is displayed.

2. Run interface interface-type interface-number [ .subinterface-number ]

   The interface view is displayed.

3. Run arp-proxy enable

   Routed proxy ARP is enabled on the interface.

   After routed proxy ARP is enabled, you must reduce the aging time of ARP entries on the device so that the number of packets received but cannot be forwarded by the device is decreased.

4. Run commit

   The configuration is committed.
