(Optional) Enabling LDP Loop Detection Negotiation
If the NetEngine 8000 F is connected to a device enabled with LDP loop detection, the NetEngine 8000 F must obtain the capability of negotiating LDP loop detection before being able to set up an LDP session with the peer device.
Context
The NetEngine 8000 F does not support LDP loop detection. To establish an LDP session with a device enabled with LDP loop detection, the NetEngine 8000 F needs to be enabled with the capability of negotiating LDP loop detection.
Procedure
- Run system-view
The system view is displayed.
- Run mpls ldp
The MPLS-LDP view is displayed.
- Run loop-detect
LDP loop detection negotiation is enabled. This allows the NetEngine 8000 F to negotiate LDP parameters during the initialization phase and establish an LDP session with a peer device that is enabled with LDP loop detection.
After the loop-detect command is run, the NetEngine 8000 F obtains the capability of negotiating LDP loop detection but still does not support LDP loop detection.
