Configuring a Transit Node of a Static LSP

A static LSP needs to be manually configured on each transit node.

Procedure

  1. Run system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run static-lsp transit lsp-name [ incoming-interface interface-type interface-number ] in-label in-label { nexthop next-hop-address | outgoing-interface interface-type interface-number } * out-label out-label

A local node is configured as a transit node of an LSP.

To modify the inbound interface name, incoming label value, next-hop address, outbound interface name, or outgoing label value, run the static-lsp transit command to set a new value, but there is no need to run the undo static-lsp transit command before changing a setting.

It is recommended that you establish a static LSP by specifying a next-hop IP address. In addition, ensure that the location routing table contains the route entries that exactly match the specified destination IP address, including the destination IP address and the IP address of the next hop.

If an Ethernet interface is used as an outbound interface, the nexthop next-hop-address parameter must be configured.

  3. Run commit

    The configuration is committed.
