The mLDP P2MP FRR link protection can be configured in the MPLS-LDP view.
mLDP P2MP FRR link protection configured in the MPLS-LDP view enables a device to rapidly detect link faults and converge, which minimizes traffic loss.

mLDP P2MP FRR link protection is enabled.
When mLDP FRR link protection is enabled and a link fault is being rectified, a delayed switchback is required. During the delayed switchback, the backup path remains unchanged. When the link recovers, IGP route convergence is fast, causing mLDP to recalculate a new backup path. During path calculation, the old backup path is deleted. To prevent packet loss stemming from the deletion of the old backup path, set the time used to keep advertising the maximum IGP cost to be longer than the mLDP FRR delay. To prevent this problem, run the mpls p2mp frr-wtr command to set an mLDP FRR delay.
