This section describes how to configure event management to enable delayed event reporting.

You can configure event management to manage events and enable delayed event reporting.

Pre-configuration Tasks

Before configuring event management, complete the following tasks:

Power on the device and perform a device self-check.

Configuring Delayed Event Reporting: To control the event reporting frequency, you can enable delayed event reporting by specifying a delay.

Configuring Event Log Recording Globally: This section describes how to enable or disable the function to record a type of event log globally. For this type of event log, only event traps are sent but logs are not recorded.

Verifying the Event Management Configuration: After configuring event management, verify the configuration.
