If a QinQ/dot1q VLAN tag termination sub-interface on the router is connected to a downstream router that sends single-tagged IPv6 PIM messages, the sub-interface discards the IPv6 PIM messages by default.
To resolve this issue, enable the QinQ/dot1q VLAN tag termination sub-interface to forward single-tagged IPv6 PIM messages.
