On the IPv6 network shown in Figure 1, DeviceA, DeviceB, and DeviceC function as TWAMP Light-capable servers that can be tested. DeviceE functions as the Control-Client and specifies an IPv6 address to start collecting statistics. DeviceE sends statistics to the performance management system.
Users can compare statistics to measure the performance of network segments. For example, to measure the performance of the IP network between DeviceA and DeviceB, the control-client initiates a TWAMP test for DeviceA and DeviceB. Users can check the performance statistics for the IP network between DeviceA and DeviceB by comparing the two sets of statistics.
