Eth-Trunk
In the network shown in Figure 1, an Eth-Trunk that bundles two full-duplex 1000 Mbit/s interfaces is established between Device A and Device B. The maximum bandwidth of the trunk link is 2000 Mbit/s.
Backup is enabled within the Eth-Trunk. If a link fails, traffic is switched to the other link to ensure link reliability.
In addition, network congestion can be avoided because traffic between Device A and Device B is balanced between the two member links.
