Description

ASMNG/3/ASUNIMNGMODENOTMATCH: OID [oid] The unified management modes of AS and Parent are different. (AS Name=[STRING], AS Model=[STRING], AS MAC=[OPAQUE], AS State=[INTEGER], Parent State=[INTEGER])

The SVF enabling status of the AS and parent is different.

Parameters

oid Indicates the MIB object ID of the alarm.
AS Name Indicates the AS name.
AS Model Indicates the AS model.
AS MAC Indicates the MAC address of the AS.
AS State Indicates the AS status.
Parent State Indicates the parent status.

Impact on the System

The AS cannot go online or be registered.

Possible Causes

The SVF enabling status of the AS and parent is different.

Procedure

  1. Check whether the SVF function has been enabled on the parent based on alarm parameters.

    • If so, go to step 2.
    • If not, go to step 3.

  2. If the SVF function has been enabled on the parent, the AS must be unconfigured and have the SVF function enabled through auto-negotiation.
  3. If the SVF function is not enabled on the parent, run the uni-mng command on the parent to enable the SVF function.
  4. Run the display_as_access_configuration command on the AS. If the AS mode field displays centralized or independent, the SVF function has been enabled on the AS.
