ASMNG/3/REPLACE_SLOT_FAIL: Failed to replace slot on AS. (AS Name=[STRING], Slot ID=[INTEGER])

Description

The slot on the AS failed to be replaced.

Parameters

Parameter Name	Parameter Meaning
AS Name	Indicates the AS name.
Slot ID	Indicates a slot ID.

Possible Causes

Failed to run the slot slot-id1 replace-model model-name or slot slot-id2 [ to slot-id3 ] [ replace-model model-name ] command replace the slot on the AS.

Procedure

Run the display as command to check whether the AS is online.
- If so, go to step 2.
- If not, go to step 4.
Run the display uni-mng interface fabric-port state command to check the Local-port connected to this AS.
In the stack port view, run the shutdown interface command to shut down this port.
Run the display this command in the AS view to check whether this AS has other configurations, such as the fabric port binding configuration and template configuration. If so, delete these configurations.
Run the slot command in the AS view to replace the slot on the AS again.
If the fault persists, collect log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.You can collect diagnostic information using the display diagnostic-information command.
