Description

EMDI_MB/4/EMDI_TRAP_RECVDUPLICATEPACKET:OID [OID] The device received duplicate packets in 3 consecutive periods.(EmdiInstId=[INTEGER])

The out-of-order packet rate detected by an eMDI instance was greater than the packet loss rate in three consecutive monitoring intervals, and multiple flows existed on the network.

Possible Causes

Only a few parameter types were configured when the target flow was defined. As a result, the target flow range was large.

Procedure

Configure more types of parameters to define target flows more precisely. For example, specify the source and destination port numbers to define the target flow.
- If the target flows to be monitored are transported over UDP, run the flow ipv4 udp command to configure the target UDP flows to be monitored by an eMDI instance.
- If the target flows to be monitored are transported over TCP, run the flow ipv4 tcp command to configure the target TCP flows to be monitored by an eMDI instance.
If the alarm persists, collect alarm and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel.
