Services on the original standby switch are interrupted and cannot recover until the switch is added to the stack system again.
1. Once a new stack system was created, a slave switch was elected as the standby switch.
2. The original standby switch left the stack system if the switch was powered off or the stack cable was loosened or manually removed. In this case, a new standby switch was elected.
