HTTP2C/3/TCP_CONN_FAILED: Failed to create a TCP connection. (DestIp = [STRING], DestPort = [STRING], AppType = [STRING])

Description

Creating a TCP connection failed.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning

DestIp

Destination address.

DestPort

Destination port number.

AppType
Channel type:
  • 1: Authentication channel, which is established with the controller for authentication.
  • 2: Performance reporting channel, which is established with the controller for performance reporting.
  • 3: Registration center channel, which is established with eSight for registration center query.
  • 4: Performance reporting channel, which is established with the IES for performance reporting.
  • 5: Service channel, which is established with the controller for IP-group message exchange.

Possible Causes

  • The routes at both ends are unreachable.
  • The IP address and port number configurations are incorrect.

Procedure

  1. Perform the ping operation to check whether the routes between the two ends are reachable.

    • If not, ensure that IP addresses are correctly configured.
    • If so, go to step 2.

  2. Check whether the configurations on the peer end are correct.

    • If not, modify the configurations.
    • If so, collect log and configuration information, and contact technical support.
