HTTP2C/3/SSL_CONN_FAILED: Failed to create an SSL connection. (DestIp = [STRING], DestPort = [STRING], Error = [STRING], AppType = [STRING])

Description

Creating an SSL connection failed.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning

DestIp

Destination address.

DestPort

Destination port number.

Error

Reason of an incorrect SSL connection:

  • 00000000: The certificate is rejected by the peer end.
  • 1416F086: Certificate verification fails.

AppType

Channel type:
  • 1: Authentication channel, which is established with the controller for authentication.
  • 2: Performance reporting channel, which is established with the controller for performance reporting.
  • 3: Registration center channel, which is established with eSight for registration center query.
  • 4: Performance reporting channel, which is established with the IES for performance reporting.
  • 5: Service channel, which is established with the controller for IP-group message exchange.

Possible Causes

  • 00000000: The certificate is rejected by the peer end.
  • 1416F086: Certificate verification fails.

Procedure

  1. Run the pki validate-certificate command in the system view to check certificate validity.

    • If the certificate is invalid, apply for a new certificate.
    • If the certificate is valid, go to step 2.

  2. Check whether the CA certificate of the peer end can be found on both ends.

    • If not, import the CA certificate of the peer end.
    • If so, collect log and configuration information, and contact technical support.
