Description

Failed to create the (S, G) entry.

Parameters

Possible Causes

1. The multicast source was filtered out.

2. The memory was not enough.

3. The current route entries reached the upper limit.

Procedure

Run the display acl { acl-number | all } command to ensure the (S, G) will not be filtered out, that is, ensure that the source address and group address will not be denied by the ACL applied to multicast.
Ensure that system memory is enough.
Run the display pim routing-table, display multicast routing-table, and display multicast forwarding-table commands to check the total number of PIM entries, multicast route entries and forwarding entries. Ensure that the total number does not reach the upper limit specified in the current PIM version.
Collect log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
