PIM/6/DISCA_PRIADDR:In VPN instance [vpn-instance-name], because the address was the same as the link-local address of the PIM IPv6 neighbor or the primary address of the PIM IPv4 neighbor, the hello message received from the interface [interface] was ignored. (FlCode=[STRING][ULONG])

Description

A Hello message with an incorrect primary address was discarded.

Possible Causes

The secondary address of a received Hello message was ignored because this address was the same as the link-local address of the PIM IPv6 neighbor or the primary address of the PIM IPv4 neighbor.

Procedure

If this fault occurs occasionally, this log message can be ignored.
If the fault frequently occurs, check the packet source, record this log message, and then contact technical support personnel.
