SEP/6/RCV_CFM_FAULT:The SEP receives an error notification from the CFM. (Segment ID=[ULONG], Port Name=[STRING], Fault State=[STRING])

Description

After the SEP segment was associated with CFM, CFM sends a fault notification to the SEP segment through the OAM module when detecting a connectivity fault or a fault recovery event.

Parameters

Possible Causes

Cause 1: After the SEP segment was associated with CFM, CFM detected that the fault was rectified.

Cause 2: After the SEP segment was associated with CFM, CFM detected a connectivity fault.

Procedure

Cause 1: After the SEP segment was associated with CFM, CFM detected that the fault was rectified.
This log message indicates a normal situation, and no action is required.
Cause 2: After the SEP segment was associated with CFM, CFM detected a connectivity fault.
1. Run the display cfm remote-mep command to view the CFM Status field.
  - If the CFM Status field is displayed as Up, it indicates that the CC link is normal. In this case, go to b.
  - If the CFM Status field is displayed as Up, it indicates that CFM detects a CC link fault. In this case, go to b.
2. Collect configurations and log messages, and then contact technical support personnel.
