Description

WLAN/4/AP_POE_PD_CLASS_OVER_CURRENT:OID [oid] A port detects a PD whose current exceeds the threshold of the corresponding class. (APMAC=[OPAQUE], APName=[STRING], ApIfIndex=[INTEGER], ApEntityPhysicalName=[OCTET], APID=[INTEGER])

An AP that supports PoE out detects that overcurrent occurs during PD classification and does not provide power for a PD.

Procedure

You can run the poe high-inrush enable command in the AP system profile view to configure an interface to allow generation of the high pulse current. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

Replace the PD and check whether the alarm is cleared.
- If so, go to step 4.
- If not, go to step 3.
