Press Ctrl+B or Ctrl+E to enter BootLoad menu : 2 Password: //Enter the BootLoad password.
To prevent unauthorized users from accessing the BootLoad main menu, users are required to enter a password. By default, the BootLoad password is Admin@huawei.com, and the password may be huawei on a device that has been upgraded to the current version from an earlier one. You can change the BootLoad password following the procedure in Modifying the BootLoad Password.
If a user enters incorrect BootLoad passwords three times, the device restarts.
To ensure device security, change the password periodically.
If you press Ctrl+T when the message "Press Ctrl+T to Start Memory Test" or "Press CTRL+T for full memory test" is displayed during the device startup, the device will perform a memory check.

Boot with default mode |
Starts the device with the default mode without the BootLoad reboot phase. Select this option when fast device startup is required or the operations in the BootLoad menu do not involve the BootLoad program, for example, modify the BootLoad password. |
Enters the startup submenu. In this submenu, you can check or modify startup configurations. |

Enters the Ethernet submenu. In this submenu, you can download files to memories and storage devices through the Ethernet port or back-up configuration files. This operation features fast file transfer, but you must configure network parameters and file server to ensure reachable routes between the device and server. |

Enters the file system submenu. In this submenu, you can manage and maintain the file system. |

Enters the password submenu. In this menu, you can change the BootLoad password or restore the default BootLoad password. |

Deletes the console port login password. When you forget the console port login password and fail to log in, you can use this submenu to delete the console port login password. NOTE:
Selecting the option to clear the console port login password actually sets the authentication mode for console port login users to non-authentication. After the device restarts, you can directly log in to the device without entering the user name and password. To ensure the console port usage security, it is recommended that you change the authentication mode for console port login users to AAA authentication after logging in to the device. |
