(Optional) Configuring a Non-awakening Port

Context

Ports are classified into awakening ports and non-awakening ports. Once an awakening port detects a user, the device in dormancy mode is awakened. You can configure some ports as non-awakening ports so that these ports do not affect device dormancy and awakening.

Procedure

  1. Run system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run set power manage non-awaken-port interface { interface-type interface-number [ to interface-type interface-number ] } &<1-10>

    Specified ports are configured as non-awakening ports.

    By default, all ports are awakening ports.
