Overview of the First Login

Before being able to configure a new switch, you need to log in to the switch. Once logged in, you can configure the device name, management IP address, and system time, or configure Telnet or STelnet to implement remote login.

The first login methods include:

• Console port
• Mini USB port
• Web system
