Configuring Basic Multicast Network Management Functions

Context

You can enable the trap function for a specified module to monitor events of the specified protocol.

Pre-configuration Tasks

Before configuring multicast network management, complete the following tasks:
  • Configure basic multicast functions to ensure normal multicast transmission on the network.
  • Configure basic Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) functions to ensure normal communication with the network management station.
