Enabling the Trap Function for a Specified Module

Context

On a multicast device managed by the network management system (NMS), you can enable the trap function for a specified module to monitor events of the specified protocol.

Procedure

Run system-view
The system view is displayed.
Choose one or more operations to perform:
- Run the snmp-agent trap enable feature-name igmp [ trap-name { glblimit | iflimit | iflimitclr | inslimit | joingrp | leavegrp | hwmgmdgmptotallimitclear | hwmgmdgmpgloballimitclear | hwmgmdtotallimitthresholdexceed | hwmgmdtotallimitthresholdexceedclear | hwmgmdhoststargthresholdexceed | hwmgmdhoststargthresholdexceedclear | hwmgmdhoststargexceed | hwmgmdhoststargexceedclear | hwmgmdhostsgthresholdexceed | hwmgmdhostsgthresholdexceedclear | hwmgmdhostsgexceed | hwmgmdhostsgexceedclear } ] command to enable the Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) trap function.
  By default, the IGMP trap function is disabled.
- Run the snmp-agent trap enable feature-name mld [ trap-name { glblimit | iflimit | iflimitclr | inslimit | joingrp | leavegrp | hwmgmdgmptotallimitclear | hwmgmdgmpgloballimitclear } ] command to enable the Multicast Listener Discovery (MLD) trap function.
  By default, the MLD trap function is disabled.
- Run the snmp-agent trap enable feature-name mrm [ trap-name { hwipmcastsgexceed | hwipmcastsgexceedclear | hwipmcastsgthresholdexceed | hwipmcastsgthresholdexceedclear } ] command to enable the Multicast Route Management (MRM) trap function.
  By default, the MRM trap function is disabled.
- Run the snmp-agent trap enable feature-name msdp [ trap-name { establish | backward } ] command to enable the Multicast Source Discovery Protocol (MSDP) trap function.
  By default, the MSDP trap function is disabled.
- Run the snmp-agent trap enable feature-name pim [ trap-name { neighbor-loss | invalid-join-prune | rp-mapping-change | interface-election | invalid-register | new-neighbor | mrt-limit | hwpimmrtlimitclear | hwpimsgexceed | hwpimsgexceedclear | hwpimsgthresholdexceed | hwpimsgthresholdexceedclear | hwpimstargexceed | hwpimstargexceedclear | hwpimstargthresholdexceed | hwpimstargthresholdexceedclear } ] command to enable the Protocol Independent Multicast (PIM) trap function.
  By default, the PIM trap function is disabled.
- Run the snmp-agent trap enable feature-name pim-std [ trap-name { pimneighborloss | piminvalidregister | piminvalidjoinprune | pimrpmappingchange | piminterfaceelection } ] command to enable the public PIM trap function.
  By default, the public PIM trap function is disabled.
