By default, the switch does not check for the Router-Alert option in MLD packets and sends all MLD packets to the upper-layer routing protocol. Checking the Router-Alert option improves system performance, reduces route costs, and enhances network security. MLD packets that do not contain the Router-Alert option are discarded.
