Group Member Ports

Procedure

  • Create a static user.
    1. Choose Configuration > Advanced Services > IGMP Snooping and click the Group Member Ports tab, as shown in Figure 1.

    2. Click Create Static User to display the Create Static User page, as shown in Figure 2.

      Table 1 describes parameters on the Create Static User page.

      Parameter

      Description

      Selected outbound interfaces

      Lists the interfaces that you have selected on the panel.

      Multicast group address

      Enter the IP address of the multicast group to which you want to bind the interfaces.

      Multicast source address

      Enter a multicast source address.

      VLAN ID

      Enter the VLAN ID of the interfaces. The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 4094.

    3. Set the parameters.
    4. Click OK.
  • Delete a static user.
    1. Choose Configuration > Advanced Services > IGMP Snooping and click the Group Member Ports tab, as shown in Figure 1.
    2. Click Delete Static User to display the Delete Static User page, as shown in Figure 3.

      Table 2 describes parameters on the Delete Static User page.

      Parameter

      Description

      Selected outbound interfaces

      Lists the interfaces that you have selected on the panel.

      VLAN ID

      Select a VLAN ID to remove the interfaces from the group in the specified VLAN.

      Multicast group address

      Enter the IP address of the multicast group from which you want to remove the interfaces.

      Multicast source address

      Enter a multicast source address.

    3. Set the parameters.
    4. Click OK.
  • Delete dynamic multicast entries.
    1. Choose Configuration > Advanced Services > IGMP Snooping and click the Group Member Ports tab, as shown in Figure 1.
    2. Select the dynamic multicast entries you want to delete and click Delete Dynamic Multicast Entry. The system asks you whether to delete the entries.
    3. Click OK.
