OSPF

Procedure

  • Create OSPF.
    1. Choose Configuration > Advanced Services > IP Route > OSPF in the navigation tree to open the OSPF page. Click Create, as shown in Figure 1.

      Table 1 describes parameters on the page.

      Parameter

      Description

      Process ID

      Specifies an OSPF process ID.

      Router ID

      Specifies a router ID.

      Always advertise the default route

      Indicates whether the function of advertising default routes into common OSPF areas:
      • ON
      • OFF

      Import external routes

      Imports the routes learned by other routing protocols:
      • Direct route
      • Static route

    2. Set the parameters. Click OK to complete the configuration.
    3. Click More Configurations at the right side of the OSPF List data to open the configuration page. Click Create, as shown in Figure 2.

    4. In the Area ID text box, enter an area ID in dotted decimal notation. Click OK.
  • Modify OSPF.
    1. Choose Configuration > Advanced Services > IP Route > OSPF in the navigation tree to open the OSPF page.
    2. In OSPF List, click Modify at the right side of the appropriate data to open the Modify OSPF page, as shown in Figure 3.

    3. Table 1 describes parameters on the page. Modify the parameters as required and then click OK.
  • Delete OSPF.
    1. Choose Configuration > Advanced Services > IP Route > OSPF in the navigation tree to open the OSPF page.
    2. Select a data entry and click Delete. In the dialog box that is displayed, click OK.
  • Update OSPF.
    1. Choose Configuration > Advanced Services > IP Route > OSPF in the navigation tree to open the OSPF page.
    2. Click Refresh to update the OSPF list.
