Procedure

  • Create a VRRP entry.
    1. Choose Configuration > Advanced Services > VRRP > IPv4 to access the IPv4 page. Click Create, as shown in Figure 1.

      Table 1 describes the parameters.

      Parameter

      Description

      VRID

      Indicates the VRID of a VRRP group.

      VLANIF

      Click to specify the VLANIF interface on which a VRRP group is created.

      Virtual IP

      Indicates the virtual IP address of a VRRP group. Click to add the virtual IP address.
      NOTE:

      The virtual IP address must be on the same network segment as the IP address of the VLANIF interface.

      Configuration priority

      Indicates the priority of a device in the VRRP group. A larger value indicates a higher priority.

      Observing port

      Indicates whether to enable association between VRRP and the interface status.

      • ON: Association between VRRP and the interface status is enabled.
      • OFF: Association between VRRP and the interface status is disabled.

      Interface name

      Click to specify the associated interface.

      NOTE:

      This parameter is available only when the value of Observing port is ON.

      Priority

      Indicates the value by which the priority of the associated interface increases or decreases. Click to specify the value.

      NOTE:

      This parameter is available only when the value of Observing port is ON.

    2. Set parameters and click OK.
  • Modify a VRRP entry.
    1. Choose Configuration > Advanced Services > VRRP > IPv4 to access the IPv4 page.
    2. Click Modify next to a data item to access the Modify VRRP page, as shown in Figure 2.

    3. Modify parameters and click OK.
  • Delete a VRRP entry.
    1. Choose Configuration > Advanced Services > VRRP > IPv4 to access the IPv4 page.
    2. Select a data item to be deleted and click Delete. In the dialog box that is displayed, click OK.
  • Refresh VRRP information.
    1. Choose Configuration > Advanced Services > VRRP > IPv4 to access the IPv4 page.
    2. Click Refresh to refresh the VRRP list.
