IPv6

Procedure

• Create a VRRP6 entry.
  1. Choose Configuration > Advanced Services > VRRP > IPv6 to access the IPv6 page. Click Create, as shown in Figure 1.

     Table 1 describes the parameters.

     Table 1 VRRP6 parameters

     Parameter	Description
     VRID	Indicates the VRID of a VRRP6 group.
     VLANIF	Click to specify the VLANIF interface on which a VRRP6 group is created.
     Link local address	Indicates the link local address.
     Virtual IP	Indicates the virtual IP address of a VRRP6 group. Click to add the virtual IP address. NOTE: The virtual IP address must be on the same network segment as the IP address of the VLANIF interface. The first virtual IPv6 address of a VRRP6 group must be a link local address.
     Configuration priority	Indicates the priority of a device in the VRRP6 group. A larger value indicates a higher priority.

  2. Set parameters and click OK.
• Modify a VRRP6 entry.
  1. Choose Configuration > Advanced Services > VRRP > IPv6 to access the IPv6 page.
  2. Click Modify next to a data item to access the Modify VRRP6 page, as shown in Figure 2.

  3. Modify parameters and click OK.
• Delete a VRRP6 entry.
  1. Choose Configuration > Advanced Services > VRRP > IPv6 to access the IPv6 page.
  2. Select a data item to be deleted and click Delete. In the dialog box that is displayed, click OK.
• Refresh VRRP6 information.
  1. Choose Configuration > Advanced Services > VRRP > IPv6 to access the IPv6 page.
  2. Click Refresh to refresh the VRRP6 list.
