Service Escape
Context
If an authentication-server-down backup VAP is not automatically disabled after the authentication server is restored, the administrator can manually disable this VAP. When the authentication server rejects access of STAs, the administrator can manually enable an authentication-server-down backup VAP to enable the STAs to enter the survival state.
Procedure
- View service escape information.
- Choose . On the Service Escape page that is displayed, view service escape information.

Service Backup VAP Profile
Name of a VAP profile.
Monitor RADIUS Server
Name of a RADIUS server template.
RADIUS Server Status
Status of the RADIUS server.
Service Backup VAP Enabled Mode
Mode in which the backup VAP is enabled.
Service Backup VAP Status Status of the backup VAP.
Operation Whether a specified backup VAP is enabled or disabled.
- Choose . On the Service Escape page that is displayed, view service escape information.
- Enable or disable all backup APs.
On the Service Escape page, click Enable All Service Backup VAP or Disable All Service Backup VAP to enable or disable all authentication-server-down backup VAPs.
