In a scenario with multiple ACs deployed, you need to apply for a license for each AC and this license can be used only by this AC. To implement centralized license control on a network, configure one AC the license server to manage all license resources, and configure other ACs as license clients to send local license information to the license server. When an AP goes online on an AC, the AC needs to apply for a license from the license server. When an AP goes offline from an AC, the AC can notify the license server of the going-offline event, so that the license server releases the corresponding license resource. Centralized license control achieves unified management and flexible allocation of license resources on the network, and enables a convenient and efficient way of using license resources.
Only the S5720-HI, S5730-HI, S5731-H, S5731S-H, S5732-H, S6730-H, S6730S-H, and S6720-HI support this node.
