The link measurement disable command disables the link measurement function.
The undo link measurement disable command enables the link measurement function.
By default, the link measurement function is enabled.
The link measurement function is provided by the 802.11k standard for measuring downlink received signal strength indicators (RSSIs). After this function is enabled, an AP sends Link Measurement Request frames to STAs, requesting the STAs to report the measured signal data. Based on the signal data, the AP can estimate the link loss and link margin and then obtain accurate downlink RSSIs. With this function, the AP can steer STAs to perform smart roaming and optimize wireless network experience.
