The radio-mode command sets the radio mode of an AP.
The undo radio-mode command restores the default radio mode for an AP.
The default radio modes of different AP models are as follows:
This function will be available for APs in later versions. Currently, it can be executed on the AC but does not take effect.
radio-mode { 2radio-standard | 2radio-2g-enhanced | 2radio-5g-enhanced | 2radio-independent-scan | 3radio }

2radio-2g-enhanced |
Specifies the 2G enhanced dual-radio mode. The 2G radio in this mode provides a larger capacity than the standard mode. |
- |
2radio-5g-enhanced |
Specifies the 5G enhanced dual-radio mode. The 5G radio in this mode provides a larger capacity than the standard mode. |
- |
2radio-independent-scan |
Specifies the dual-radio+independent scanning radio mode. |
- |
3radio |
Specifies the three-radio mode. |

When air interface resources are sufficient, you can set the AP to work in three-radio mode to increase the capacity. When air interface resources are insufficient, interference is severe, or APs are densely deployed, the dual-radio mode is recommended to reduce interference.
When the radio mode is switched, services on all radios of the AP are interrupted.
To view the radio types supported by an AP, run the display ap-type command. If the radio mode delivered by the AC is not supported by the AP, the default mode supported by the AP is delivered.
