The IP address usage of the vpn reached the threshold.

In VS mode, this trap is supported only by the admin VS.

This alarm is supported only on NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Impact on the System

Services will not be affected. However, if the IPv4 address usage continues to increase, IPv4 addresses in the address pools bound to the VPN instance will be exhausted and users cannot go online.

Possible Causes

The number of IPv4 access users increased. As a result, the address usage of the IPv4 address pools bound to the VPN instance reached the threshold.

Procedure

1.Increase the number of assignable IPv4 addresses using the section command in the view of the address pool bound to the VPN instance, bind more IPv4 address pools to the VPN instance, or set a larger alarm threshold for the address usage of the IPv4 address pools bound to the VPN instance using the ip-pool warning-threshold threshold command in the VPN instance view. Then check whether the trap message is cleared.

-If the trap message is cleared, go to Step 3.

-If the trap message persists, go to Step 2.

2.Collect trap, log, and configuration information and contact Huawei technical support engineers.
